Using the latest scientific modelling the Logan, Bremer Rivers, Lockyer and Pumicestone catchments were identified as contributing the greatest source of sediment and nutrients entering our waterways.

Using this information, with input from local land managers, we identified “focal areas” within these sub-catchments where greatest benefit could potentially be gained by intervening with a range of sediment controls.

We have continued to work closely with the community in each of these priority catchments identifying local issues and concerns, increasing awareness and implementing sustainable projects that address these issues.
